In Dikili, Izmir, ‘A conjoined twin (Siamese twin)’ bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) was found stranded dead on 4 August 2014. The first necropsy study of the highly decomposed dolphin was conducted by our experts. We continue our research in this case, as it is very rarely seen in marine mammals.
