Bizim Denizlerimiz: Deniz Okuryazarlığı Rehberi

Prepared as part of the SHORE Project, this guide aims to promote marine literacy by raising awareness about the importance of the seas, their ecological balance, and their sustainable management. It addresses the characteristics of Türkiye’s seas, marine ecosystems, and biodiversity, as well as major threats to the seas such as marine pollution, climate change, invasive species, and overfishing. The guide, which also addresses individual and societal responsibilities regarding the protection of the seas and marine resources, serves as a fundamental resource for various segments of society, particularly students and teachers. The book, which is 55 pages long and available in Turkish, also has an English edition.
